It is our belief that all good things come from God, including our finances. And as stewards of these good gifts we are called to use our financial resources for the work of His Kingdom. We believe that the biblical practice of offering ten percent of our income to God is a valuable spiritual discipline, and as a body of regular attenders and members we hold each other accountable in this. As a first-time guest at Hilltop, or if you are just getting to know us you are not expected to give. Your presence with us at Sunday worship or in Connect Groups is your gift to us.
Online giving is a reliable, safe way to move your stewardship commitment into action. You may choose to give weekly, monthly or when you are able, and it provides a consistent way to meet your pledge commitment.
For your convenience, we’ve partnered with Vanco Services to offer online giving. By clicking the "GIVE NOW" button at the top of the page, you'll be taken to their secure portal to complete your transaction. You can also create an online profile that will allow you to better manage and track your online giving. Please contact the church office, 507-387-3877, if you have any questions about giving.
HOW WE USE YOUR GIFTS
GENERAL FUND provides resources for our ministry and mission.
INCREASE FUND supports future staffing needs of our church’s ministry and mission.
MEMORIAL FUND provides an opportunity for donors to designate a gift for a specific need in memorium of a loved one.
ENDOWMENT FUND makes a lasting difference in Hilltop’s ability to "make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world". Remember Hilltop in wills, trusts, retirement accounts and life insurance designations and create a legacy with the power to touch many lives. Designate a gift for any of the following funds: Education & Leadership Development, Missions, Building and Property, General Endowment.
If this is your first step in the spiritual practice of regular giving, we encourage you to give to our general fund. If you are ready to take your next steps in increasing your giving we encourage you to either increase your regular General Fund donation or consider an additional regular gift to the Increase Fund.
